On December 15, the Science Fiction Creation and De𒐪velopment from the Perspective of Science Communication Seminar and the Beijing International Conference on Science Communication was successfully held. A number of experts and scholars from the field of science fiction creation and science communication exchanged and shared information about science fiction creation and communication.

The seminar was guided by the BJAST and the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, and co-sponsored by the International and Regional Cooperation Center, the Science Communication Center of the BJAST, the Beijing Planetarium, the Zhongguancun Global High-end Think Tank Alliance, and the Beijing International Exchange Center for Science and Technology. The seminar was held online and live broadcast on th⛄e Wechat channel of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, attracting more than 500 science fiction amateurs and science popularization practitioners.

As a series of activities of the Beijing International Seminar on Science Communication, this seminar invited experts and scholars at home and abroad to share how to create more meaningful science fiction literature and film and television works from multiple perspectives, and discussed how to promote cultuꦅre science and technology innovation, cultural prosperity, and popular science development to drive the new development of science fiction culture and industry and the international soft power of China's science fiction based on their research fields and work experience. At the same time, through the live broadcast platform, the conference spread the cutting-edge scientific views to the public, encouraged more people to enter the path of science fiction creation, and provide new ideas and reference for the new era to effectively strengthen the international communication ability of Chinese science fiction works, and tell the Chinese story of science and technology self-reliance.
